Small But Mighty - Merlin

“Merlins during the Arizona winter can be difficult  to find, even when you know they are present. These small falcons seem acrophobic, preferring to stay low in brusn and trees rather than perching higher in trees or manmade structures. When they launch across a field they stay low to the ground, flying fast and silent, a gray blur that you would be lucky see as it speeds past you.
